Iran Claims Title of Asian U-20 Water Polo Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran won the title in the 2025 Asian U-20 Water Polo Championships on Sunday.
The Iranian team defeated China 15-11 to win the gold medal.
Iran had defeated Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Uzbekistan and lost to China in the competition.
Iran also booked its place at the World U-20 Water Polo Championships as one of top four teams.
The world championships will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, from June 14-21.
